I AM BUCK!

I am five-years-old. That is exactly FIVE in dog years - since we are both in the present. Just saying.
I have been described as an English Lab, but if my paws are touching it, it's American. Life is good - I cannot complain. Full of horses, a few hundred acres I marked as my own and thousands of friends.

all about me

I love my job. And the pay is sweet (and crunchy).

How to turn a house cat into a barn cat

One key responibility as a human's best friend is to recognize signs of trouble (beware the 'crazy cat lady'). These temporary problems tend to multiply. So you either need to send them packing or help your human pack.

No, I haven't seen your missing cat - or shoes

I have many jobs. My favorite is chasing down loose horses. My day consists of mostly avoiding baths (I take my own), keeping all the tenants in line and the ranch clear of enemy cats.

A cat's eyes are windows into their soul - if they had one

Ever wonder how a cat sees the world? Yeah, me either. Let's talk about what I like to eat. Dog food is for dogs – but not this dog. I usually get half of what my human eats unless it is fish. Whataburger rules.

I'm kind of a big thing. It seems everyone knows me or at least shout my name. Small humans love to throw balls for me to catch and fetch out of water. The older humans are not nearly as entertained and complain if I am not on a leash, but my human is 'Special' and their conversations are usually pretty short. I make him happy and that makes me happy (you can tell when I am happy - my tail curls).
