Data collected during Project Mustang’s market and feasibility study, proved convincingly the demand for trained mustangs is real and growing. However, it also demonstrated trainers with little or no marketing skills are less-successful in attracting adopters and spend more personal resources on less-effective forms of advertising. Many eventually drop out of the program. Utilizing Project Mustang’s app to augment the Bureau’s Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Program will result in more enthusiastic adoptions and at an accelerated rate.
Account holders will be able to follow their favorite trainers, learn about the adoption process, and how to participate in the shared goal of the mustang's survival.
